Using Remote Play

This feature is available only on PS3™ systems that are equipped with the wireless LAN feature.

You can display a PS3™ system screen on a PSP™ system and operate remotely over a wireless LAN. You must first adjust the necessary settings on the PSP™ system and the PS3™ system.

PS3™ system settings

Adjust the necessary settings under (Settings) > (Network Settings) > [Remote Play Connection Settings].

Hint

You must enable ATRAC to use this feature. If ATRAC is not enabled, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) and set [Enable ATRAC].

PSP™ system settings

Establish a network connection using the SSID and encryption key set under [Remote Play Connection Settings] in the PSP™ system.

  • For information on operating (Remote Play), refer to the user's guide for the PSP™ system.
  • To use this feature, PSP™ system software version 3.00 or later is required.
