PlayStation®Home overview
PlayStation®Home is a 3D social gaming community on PlayStation®Network that provides an opportunity for PS3™ system users to meet and chat with other PS3™ system users. You will need to create (sign up for) a PlayStation®Network account to use these features. For details on using PlayStation®Home, visit the SCE Web site for your region.
Starting PlayStation®Home
To use PlayStation®Home, you must first download and install the PlayStation®Home application. Select 
(PlayStation®Home) under 
(PlayStation®Network) to download the application. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Hints
- To install PlayStation®Home, you will need at least 3 GB of free space on the PS3™ system's hard disk.
- (PlayStation®Home) is available only in certain regions and languages. Also, types of content that are provided in (PlayStation®Home) vary depending on the country or region of residence. For details, contact the technical support line for your region.
Quitting PlayStation®Home
To quit PlayStation®Home, press the PS button on the wireless controller, and then select 
(Quit) under (PlayStation®Network).
Deleting PlayStation®Home
The PlayStation®Home application can be deleted from the hard disk. Select (PlayStation®Home) under (PlayStation®Network), press the 
button, and then select [Delete] from the options menu.
Hint
Even if the application is deleted, the (PlayStation®Home) icon will not be deleted from the XMB™ menu. If you select the icon, PlayStation®Home will be downloaded again.
