Editing video content
You can edit video content that is saved in the system storage of the PS3™ system.

Select (Video) > (Video Editor & Uploader). |

Select (Create New Video). |

Select (Add) and then select the content to be edited. |

Edit the video. |

Select [Finish]. |
Hints
- By selecting (Add) in step 3, you can continue to add content items and combine them into one video file.
- The maximum playback time for edited video content is one hour.
- You can add up to 16 text items in one screen and up to 200 text items in one edited video file.
- You can only use preset songs as background music for your video. Songs that are saved in the system storage of the PS3™ system or on other storage media cannot be used.
Types of files that can be edited
The following types of files can be edited under (Video Editor & Uploader).
- Video content that was saved in the system storage from storage media or a USB mass storage device (system software version 3.40 or later).
- Video content that was downloaded to the system storage from a (Internet Browser) (system software version 3.40 or later).
Hints
- Video that was saved in the system storage before updating the system software to version 3.40, copyright-protected video, and content set with parental control restrictions cannot be edited.
- Take care not to infringe the intellectual property of others.
