  • Make sure that all users on the system are signed out of PlayStation™Network before you send your PS4™ system to an authorized service center for repair. This will help prevent unauthorized access to or use of your credit card or other personal details. To sign out, select (Settings) from the function screen, and then select [PlayStation™Network/Account Management] > [Sign Out].
  • Make sure that you deactivate and initialize your PS4™ system before you transfer it, dispose of it, or return it (where permitted). For details, see "Transferring or disposing of your PS4™ system".
  • Network features on your PS4™ system require a broadband Internet connection.
