Video Output Settings
When you set up your PS4™ system, you might need to configure the output for the HDMI OUT port. By default, this is set to automatically match the TV you connect. To configure settings yourself, select (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Video Output Settings].
Configure the resolution.
- TV Size
You can set the screen size to match the 3D-compatible TV in use.
This appears only when you connect a 3D-compatible TV.
- RGB Range
Change this only when you use an HDMI device that does not send RGB range information correctly.
Select [Automatic] when you're using an HDR (high dynamic range) TV. When you enable HDR settings within an HDR-compatible game, you’ll experience a greater dynamic range in the video output.
- Deep Color Output
Change this setting only if video is not displayed properly.
- Video Output Information
View information such as resolution and color format.
This setting is available only on some PS4™ systems.
