Using the browser

Select (Internet Browser) from the content area. Press the triangle button, and then enter keywords in the search field or enter a URL in the address bar.

Frequently Used Pages

Your eight most recently visited pages appear here. To delete pages, press the OPTIONS button.

Basic operations

Go back a page or go forward a page Press the L1 button or R1 button.
Move to the left window or move to the right window Press the L2 button or R2 button.
Open a new window Press the R2 button while (New) is displayed.
If you open a new window with six windows already open, the leftmost window will close.
Open a link in a new window Place the pointer over the link you want to open, and then press and hold the cross button.
Close a window Press and hold the circle button.
Scroll Use the right stick.
Move the pointer Use the left stick.
Enlarge or shrink
  • Press the OPTIONS button and select [Zoom].
    Without changing the size of the window, you can enlarge text or images. The page layout may change.
    You can press the L3 button and the R3 button to zoom in or out.
  • Press the OPTIONS button and select [Magnify].
    You can enlarge what's on the screen without changing the page layout. To see the entire page, you may need to scroll up, down, left, or right.
Display a page using the full screen Press the square button.
Press the button again to exit the full-screen display. When using the full-screen display, you can press the triangle button to display the search field and address bar.

Adding bookmarks

To bookmark a web page that you’re viewing, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Add Bookmark].
To open a bookmark that you’ve added, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Bookmarks].

  • You can add up to 100 bookmarks.
  • To edit, sort, or delete bookmarks, press the OPTIONS button while viewing [Bookmarks].

Visiting pages in your browsing history

Web pages that you visit are automatically saved in the browsing history. You can visit a web page without entering the address by selecting it from the browsing history list.
With a page open, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Browsing History].

  • Up to 100 pages are saved.
  • To clear your browsing history, press the OPTIONS button while viewing [Browsing History], and then select [Clear Browsing History].

Browser settings

Use these settings for options such as disallowing cookies, deleting cookies, and deleting website data that has been temporarily saved to the browser. With a page open, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Settings].
