Connecting devices

Turn on the TV, and then set it to the correct input signal.

Connection illustration. Labeled A through G starting from the left. Insert a memory card for the PS Vita system into the memory card slot on your PS TV system. Using the USB cable supplied with your PS TV system, connect your PS TV system and your controller. Using the supplied HDMI cable, connect your PS TV system to your TV. If you don't plan to use Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet, make sure you use a LAN cable to connect your PS TV system to a router or other network device. Using the supplied AC power cord, connect the AC adaptor to your PS TV system, and then connect the power plug to an electrical outlet.

Memory card for the PlayStation®Vita systems
Insert or remove the memory card only when the power is off. Inserting or removing the memory card while the power is on, including when your system is in standby mode, can cause data corruption or loss.

USB cable
To play games on your system, you must have a USB cable. USB cables differ depending on the controller you want to connect. For details on USB cables, contact customer support in your country or region.

You can use a DUALSHOCK™3 wireless controller or a DUALSHOCK™4 wireless controller.

For a wired connection to the network, connect a LAN cable.

AC power cord
Before you plug in the power cord, complete all of the other connections to your system. When you plug the power cord into the electrical outlet, your system turns on, and the power indicator on the front of your system lights up.
  • When you want to unplug the power cord from the electric outlet, make sure to turn off your system, and make sure to check that the power indicator on the front of your system is off.
  • Use an electrical outlet that is easily accessible, so the AC power cord can be unplugged quickly if the need arises.
