Playing downloaded games

You can play games that are downloaded (purchased) from (PlayStation®Store) on the PSP™ system.

Starting a game

1.

Select (Memory Stick™) or (System Storage) under (Game).

2.

Select the icon for the game that you want to play.

Quitting a game

Press the PS button (HOME button) while playing a game. Follow the on-screen instructions to quit the game.

Pausing a game

You can save the status of the game you are playing and quit the game temporarily.
Press the PS button while playing the game. Follow the on-screen instructions to pause the game and save the status of the game.

To restart the paused game, select (Game) > [Resume Game].

Using saved data

The saved data for a game is saved on storage media (Memory Stick™ media or system storage). The saved data is displayed under (Saved Data Utility) or (Saved Data Utility).

Viewing software manuals

Software manuals may be available for some games that are downloaded from PlayStation®Store.

Viewing the manual
PSP™Game Select the icon of the game for which you want to view the manual, press the triangle button, and then select [Software Manual] from the options menu.
PlayStation® format software Press the PS button (HOME button) while playing the game, and then select [Software Manual] from the screen that is displayed.
minigames ("minis") The method for viewing the software manual varies depending on the game.
PC Engine format games The method for viewing the software manual varies depending on the game.
