The SSID for remote play connection and the encryption key (WPA key) are set on the PS3™ system. These are set under (Settings) >
(Network Settings) > [Remote Play Connection Settings]. For details, refer to the PS3™ system software user's guide.
A PS3™ system equipped with the wireless LAN feature is required to use the Remote Play feature.
Create a network connection using the SSID and WPA key set on the PS3™ system.

Select [Infrastructure Mode]. |

Select [New Connection]. |

Select [Scan]. |

Select the PS3™ system's SSID. |

Select [WPA-PSK (AES)]. |

Enter the WPA key. |

Select [Easy]. |

Check the connection name, and then press the right button. |

Confirm the content of the settings list. |

Save your settings. |

Test the connection. |
During the connection test, the Internet connection is displayed as [Failed], but the connection can be used for remote play.
