Confirming or changing your profile

You can review or change the profile that you make public to other Skype users. The profile is displayed in the contact list or on the screen while you are using Skype.

Select the item that you want to edit from (My Profile) on the Skype menu screen. Review or change information according to instructions on the screen.

Items that can be confirmed or changed

Status	Set your current status. You can select from the following options: Online Skype Me™ Away Not Available Do Not Disturb Invisible
Picture	Select the icon that you want to have displayed in the contact list or while you are using Skype.
Mood Message	Enter a mood message. You can enter a comment that will be seen by other Skype users.
Full Name	Change the Full Name.
Gender	Enter your gender.
Birth Date	Enter your birth date.
Country/Region	Enter your country or region.
State/Province	Enter your state or province.
City	Enter your city.
Language	Enter your language.
Home Phone	Enter your home phone number.
Office Phone	Enter your office phone number.
Mobile Phone	Enter your mobile phone number.
E-Mail Address	Enter your e-mail address.
Number of Contacts	Display the number of contacts. Set whether to display the number of contacts that are in your contact list. Select either [Show] or [Hide].
Time Zone	Display the time. Set whether to display the time that is set for your PSP™ system. Select either [Show] or [Hide].

Hints

If you select [Skype Me™] from [Status], you can receive calls from any Skype users who are registered on the Internet. If you do not want to receive calls from contacts you do not know, you should not select [Skype Me™].
If you select [Invisible] from [Status], you can use Skype in a similar manner as when you are online, but [ Offline] is displayed to other Skype users.
Except for your e-mail address, information that you enter in your public profile is viewable by other Skype users.
