In particular, when you are using a pay-as-you-go fee plan or a data roaming service, the additional fees may be unexpectedly high. When sending data over a mobile network using your system, be sure to check your fee plan and the system settings. Contact your mobile network operator for details.
Mobile Network
Select this checkbox to set a checkmark to enable the mobile network connection. This setting uses the mobile network connection when the Wi-Fi connection is not available.
When this checkbox is not checked, you cannot use the mobile network feature.
Data Roaming
To transmit data even outside your mobile network operator's service area, select this checkbox to set a checkmark.

Notices from Operator
This is a list of notifications from the operator of the mobile network you are using. When there is a notification, your system receives it automatically.
SIM Card Settings
SIM cards are provided with a pre-set password called a PIN to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.
By selecting the [Lock SIM Card] checkbox to set a checkmark, you can set your system to prompt you to enter your PIN every time your system is turned on.
- To get the pre-set PIN, contact your mobile network operator or refer to the documentation provided with the SIM card.
- If you make a mistake three times in succession entering the PIN, the PIN will be locked and you will not be able to use it. To unlock it you must enter your PIN Unlock Key (PUK). For details, contact your mobile network operator or refer to the documentation provided with the SIM card.
Change PIN
This option can only be selected when [Lock SIM Card] is on. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the PIN.
Operator Settings
This option lets you select a mobile network operator that allows data transfer.
APN Settings
Use this option when you need to set up an access point name (APN) for your data transfer.
