Video Output Settings
When you set up your PS4™ system, you might need to configure the output for the HDMI OUT port. By default, this is set to automatically match the TV you connect. To configure settings yourself, select (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Video Output Settings].
Set the resolution.
- TV Size
You can set the screen size to match the 3D-compatible TV in use.
This appears only when you connect a 3D-compatible TV.
- RGB Range
Change this only when you use an HDMI device that does not send RGB range information correctly.
You’ll experience greater dynamic range with an HDR (high dynamic range) TV and compatible applications.
- Adjust HDR
This lets you enjoy compatible games with optimised video quality when connected to an HDR TV.
- Deep Colour Output
Change this setting only if video is not displayed properly.
- Supersampling Mode
Select the checkbox for [Enable Supersampling Mode] to improve video quality in some games when connected to TVs with resolutions of 2K or lower.
This setting is available only on some PS4™ systems.
