If you start the Browser application while a game or (Videos) is in use, the display of some web page content is limited.

Entering the address (URL)

Select the address bar.
If the address bar is not visible, move the screen down.
2.
Enter the address of a web page, and then select (Enter).
The keyboard closes and the web page opens.

Opening a linked web page in a new window

1.
Select the link you want to open, and then press the Triangle button.
2.
Select [Open in New Window].

Using the pointer

Press the Square button to display the pointer, and use the left stick to move the pointer.

Zooming in and zooming out on a web page

Move the right stick up to zoom in, and move it down to zoom out.

Saving images

You can save images on the page to a memory card. You can then view the saved images in (Photos).

Select the image with the pointer, and then press the Triangle button.

Select [Save Image] > [Save].

Starting a game or (Videos) while saving an image might interrupt the save process.

Playing videos

You can watch streaming videos on a web page. Select a video to begin playback. Controls such as the operation buttons are hidden automatically after a few seconds. Tap the screen again to display the controls.

Adjusting the screen mode/subtitles

You can change the playback settings, such as the screen mode or subtitles, under (Options) > [Settings].

  • You can adjust subtitle settings only for videos that support subtitles or closed captions. You can select to show/hide subtitles in (Display Subtitles) in the control panel.
  • Press the Triangle button to display the toolbar, and then select (Options) > [Settings] > [Screen Mode] to switch the screen mode.

Controlling with the buttons on your system

You can jump back or jump forward during playback. You can switch between three levels of jump intervals every time you press the Left button or Right button. If you press and hold the button, you can jump back or jump forward as long as the button is held down.

Operations performed with the directional buttons can also be performed with the left stick.
