PlayStation® format software menu

If you press the HOME button when PlayStation® format software is in use, a menu will be displayed. The menu items that are displayed vary depending on the title.

Quit Game	Quit the current PlayStation® format software.
Switch Discs	Switch the disc. This option is displayed when it is necessary to switch to the next disc in a multi-disc game. (In this case, a "disc" is a virtual representation of a multi-disc game stored on the Memory Stick Duo™ media.) Press the HOME button when you are requested to switch or change discs by the PlayStation® format software in use, and then select this menu.
Controller Settings	Adjust settings related to the controller.
Memory Card Utility	Manage saved data of PlayStation® format software.
Other Settings	Adjust other settings such as screen settings.
Software Manual	View the software manual
Reset Game	Reset games

Controller Settings

Adjust settings related to the controller

Assign Buttons	Select the button assignment type that you want from among five types. If you select [Custom] you can assign your favorite buttons.
Assign Controllers	Select the controller that you want to assign. Select Controller 1 or Controller 2.

Memory Card Utility

Manage saved data of PlayStation® format software that is stored on an internal memory card. Use directional buttons to specify each item. Follow the on-screen instructions. For details about internal memory cards, see [Saved data from PlayStation® format software] under (Game) > [Playing games downloaded from PLAYSTATION®Store] in this guide.

Importing saved data

Import saved data that is stored on Memory Stick Duo™ media to an internal memory card. For some software, importing saved data of another game to an internal memory card may cause game progress or contents to change. The source and destination imported saved data must be stored on the same Memory Stick Duo™ media.

1.	Select the internal memory card to import the saved data to.

2.	Select [Import] from the options menu. The screen for selecting the internal memory card to import from is displayed on the right side of the screen.
3.	Select the internal memory card on which the saved data that you want to import is stored.

4.	Select the icon for the saved data that you want to import. The saved data is imported to the internal memory card.

Deleting saved data

Delete saved data from Memory Stick Duo™ media.

1.	Select the internal memory card on which the saved data that you want to delete is stored.
2.	Select [Delete] from the options menu.
3.	Select the saved data that you want to delete, and then select [Yes].

Other Settings

Screen Mode	Select the mode that you want to use. Select from Original / Normal / Full Screen.
Black Level Adjustment	If the screen is difficult to see, use this setting to adjust brightness. Select from -2 / -1 / Normal / +1 / +2
Volume Adjustment	Adjust volume Select from Normal / +1 / +2
Disc-Load Speed*	Set loading speed for games. Select from Normal or Fast. Usually select [Normal].

^*	Although the data loading speed is increased when you select [Fast], the effect may not be noticeable or the image may get distorted depending on the game.
