Importing an OPML file to the PSP™ system enables you to collectively register multiple channels that are stored in the file.
Some RSS readers for PCs have functions for writing added channel information as files. A file of this type is called an Outline Processor Markup Language or "OPML" file (extension is .opml). By importing OPML files, you can add multiple saved channels at one time. You can download OPML files from the Internet or create them using a PC.
You can create OPML files by using special software that registers RSS-distributed content (such as podcasts).
Use a PC to create the folder structure shown below on Memory Stick™ media or in the system storage, and then save the OPML files in the IMPORT folder.
1. |
Select a previously added channel, press the button, and then select [Import] from the options menu. If the OPML files that you want to import are saved on Memory Stick™ media, you must first insert the Memory Stick™ media into the PSP™ system. |
