You can test the Internet connection and see details about the connection. Results are displayed for the following items:
| Connection Name | Displays the name of the Internet connection that is currently being used |

| Signal Strength | Displays the signal strength of the access point |
| SSID | Displays the SSID of the access point |
| BSSID | Displays the BSSID of the access point |
| Channel | Displays the wireless channel used by the access point |
| Security | Displays the type of encryption key used by the access point |
| Authentication | This item is displayed only on PSP™ systems sold in Korea. "EAP-MD5" is displayed when authentication information for a public wireless LAN service has been set. Otherwise, "None" is displayed. |
| IP Address | Displays address information for the network |

| MAC Address | Displays the MAC address of the PSP™ system |
| Proxy Server | Displays information about settings for the proxy server |

| Internet Connection | Displays whether the connection to the Internet was successful |
| UPnP | Displays the status of UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) |
| NAT Type | Displays how the PSP™ system is connected to the Internet when using infrastructure mode. This information can be used to judge the ease or difficulty of connecting to other PSP™ systems when using the communication features of games. Type 1: Connected directly to the Internet Type 2: Connected to the Internet via a router Type 3: Connected to the Internet via a router With type 3, it may not be possible to communicate with other PSP™ systems, and the communication features of games may be restricted. |
