When sending data over a mobile network using the PS Vita system, be sure to check your fee plan and the system settings. Contact your mobile network operator for details.
Mobile Network
Tap this checkbox to set a checkmark to use the mobile network connection when the Wi-Fi connection is not available.
When this checkbox is not checked, you cannot use the mobile network feature.
Data Roaming
To transmit data even outside your mobile network operator's service area, tap this checkbox to set a checkmark.

Notices from Operator
This is a list of notifications from the operator of the mobile network you are using. When there is a notification, the PS Vita system receives it automatically.
SIM Card Settings
SIM cards are provided with a pre-set password called a PIN to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.
By tapping the [Lock SIM Card] checkbox to set a checkmark, you can set your PS Vita system to prompt you to enter your PIN every time the PS Vita system is turned on.
- To get the pre-set PIN, contact your mobile network operator or refer to the documentation provided with the SIM card.
- If you make a mistake three times in succession entering the PIN, the PIN will be locked and you will not be able to use it. To unlock it you must enter your PIN Unlock Key (PUK). For details, contact your mobile network operator or refer to the documentation provided with the SIM card.
Change PIN
This option can only be selected when [Lock SIM Card] is on. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the PIN.
Operator Settings
This option lets you select a mobile network operator that allows data transfer.
APN Settings
Use this option when you need to set up an access point name (APN) for your data transfer.
