You can update the system software for the PSP™ system using any of the methods listed below.
Download the update data directly to the system from the Internet. An Internet connection is required to update the system using this method. For details about connecting the system to the Internet, see (Settings) > [Network Settings] > [Infrastructure Mode] in this guide.
Use update data that has been saved on storage media (such as the system storage, UMD™, Memory Stick™ or other media).
During an update, do not remove the Memory Stick™ media or the AC adaptor, and do not turn off the system. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system software may become damaged and the system may require servicing or exchange.

If you press the button with a connection selected, the options menu will be displayed. From the menu, you can edit connection settings or delete the connection.
Connect | Connect to an access point. |

Delete | Delete a network connection. |
Information | View information about a network connection. |
To perform an update via storage media, you must first download the update data by selecting [Update via Internet] or by using a PC. Some game discs may also contain update data.
