Make an exception for the use of communication features in a game

As the family manager or parent/guardian, you can make an exception and allow the use of in-game communication features in a specific game, even if [Communication and User-Generated Content] is set to [Not Allowed].
If your child sends you a request to use communication features in a game, you can take the following actions to allow or not allow the request.

What your child needs to do

If your child tries to use the in-game communication features during a game, a screen displays that lets your child send you a request. If your child follows the instructions on the screen, the family manager or parent/guardian will receive a message.

What the family manager or parent/guardian needs to do

You can review your child’s request by visiting the following website from your computer or smartphone. After signing in with your own account, select [Family Management] > [Allowed Games] to allow or not allow the request.
